The building of the greatest Temple ever built, is described in just two chapters in the Bible. Solomon, the guy who asked God for wisdom to lead God's people (and was given that as well as riches by God), oversaw the building of this magnificent structure. In today's DOLLAR figure, an amount that would surely confuse the mind. Everything was made of the purest and best materials, metals and woods. I wish Polaroid had existed back then and a true representation was captured on film which we could view today. I look at structures today, built starkly more for purpose and use than visually appearing. I guess in Solomon's time, it was important to show God that only the best was good enough for Him. A simple gymnasium made of pine and concrete probably wouldn't have conveyed the same message of love and awe Solomon had for God. No, this Temple he had built was truly magnificent, made of the finest things known to man. Today, God still wants from us our 'finest'. He wants our first thoughts in the morning to be of Him. He wants our hearts to be pure. He wants us to love Him and others with purity. Yes, God still enjoys the best of mankind.....and although the Temple was made with gold and the finest woods and linens, He, all the while, was looking at Solomon's and the rest of the Israelites' hearts. He could have really cared less how beautiful the Temple was as long as it was built with love, devotion and in obeyance with His directions. Are you doing the same for God---not in building a Temple, but in being devoted, loving and obeying our one true God? I hope so.....

As we all know the information about Solomon’s temple is contained in the Hebrew bible I am a true believer of god. I have already heard about Solomon’s temple. I have read about the history of the temple from an article. It is of great importance in today’s world where people often turn their backs to gods. We can find that faith in god plays quintessential role in our life. It restricts us from practicing evil things. Reply to this

Lincoln said that the Patent Office adds the flame of interest to the light of creativity. And that is why we need to improve the effectiveness of our Patent Office.
