For some reason, I just LOVE the sentence fourn in the 11th chapter here, "Such were the exploits of the three mighty men." It just has a certain ring to it. In Eccesiastes, you will find this related verse: "Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." The story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, in the book of Daniel, is also related to the strength and power of three men. We have three men here in Douglasville now that COULD become three mighty men if we wanted to. I am thinking of Tony, Rick Gibbons and myself. We have been together as of late in Bible studies and have a lot in common. The most important thing we share, I think, is our primary goal....remain true to the Lord to get to Heaven and bring others with us (well, not WITH us, but ....well, you know). If anyone else is reading this...do YOU have two others you might be able to get with and form a bond for God? We find it throughout the Bible, so why not try to emulate that?
Today is Kathy Gibbons' birthday...hope to see some of you there tonight at the dinner.

    God is Great!
