A relatively logn rading this morning....hope you all took the time to read and abosrb it. To summarize, God is getting ready to send the Israelites west of the Jordan and care for them there. Despite their continual bickering and failure to follow God's commands so far, He is allowing them this promise He made a few years back. He only asks that they (begin to) follow his decrees. The most important it seems, is to love Him with all your mind, with all your heart, and with all your soul. Are you doing this? If so, God will also drive out whatever 'nation' that is standing in your way and threatening your life. Is you formidable 'nation' a poor relationship with your spouse? Is it laziness? Is is your lack of zeal and knowledge for, and of, God's Word? Whatever IT is, God will destroy it right before your eyes if you simply love Him as He describes.

    Try it.

    God is Great.

Why the heck are you making us think. Of course we ( I ) am not loving God with all my (our) hearts , minds, and souls or we would not have the internal struggles that we have. Relationships, zeal, laziness, you hit them all right on the head! My relationships suck, my zeal is gone, and I find myself becoming more and more lazy. I have no ambition, no drive, no desire to do anything anymore. Where is my focus? Surly not on God.
I now have a new computer so I have no excuse for not being here when I'm home.
