Verse 4 is cool - it is reminiscent of Job where God 'challenges' Job near the end of that book. I wouldn't mind studying Job - though I don't want to get bogged down in the repetitive middle chapters - but the beginning and end are very powerful.
The end of verse 4 is really cool - "What is his name, and the name of his son? Tell me if you know."
This is talking about the fact that God has a Son, I assume. The biggest hangup with the Jewish people (and maybe Gentiles too) regarding Jesus was that he was not just an awesome spiritual leader like Moses, Elijah, David, etc., but he was God's son. I don't think they were expecting (and still aren't expecting) someone like Jesus.
Anyway, I am going on a men's retreat for the next couple days and won't have access to the internet. I will catch up with you guys sometime on Sunday. Reply to this
Well, I was going to add some comments, but I remember we read Proverbs in October. Our discussions on Proverbs 30 were particularly intriguing. The direct link is http://kings.macisirish.com/2008/10/30/proverbs-30.aspx#Comment
