Thought some of you might like to finish out the month of April in the book of Proverbs....So, today, #29.
27 bits of advice, insight and warnings. Verse 3 sorta has two differing thoughts in it....love wisdom and stay away from prostitutes. As some of the other verses do, as well. There is SO much to learn in just this one simple 27 verse chapter, we could spend a month on it...maybe one day we'll pick a month to do a VERSE a day, vice a chapter a day, and almost any of the 31 chapters of Proverbs could be a good one to do. Comments? Want to do that in May?
So. Love wisdom. And, stay away from prostitutes. "My" advice for all today. Reply to this

You can't fear men - just like Jesus said not to fear those who can kill the body but fear him who has the power to throw your body into Hell. I don't mean to be dramatic here. The bottom line message is to be fearless when it comes to dealing with people.

We have been discussing lust quite a bit at our Tuesday evening studies and this explains our thoughts. It is a very difficult thing not to lust after a good looking woman. It takes a spiritually disciplined mind to resist. Reply to this
Do 2 things--- 1-Think of your wife's attributes and how much you love her. 2-Think of the consequences of continued lust and what it would do to your family.
After that, the lust will be gone (at least until the time another 'good looking' (as you say) woman comes along). Reply to this
