Can you imagine being prosecuted like Saul/Paul (just caught on to the fact they are the same person, so many different names)? Going through all those trials. Getting to the end and finding out that there was NO reports sent about you to the higher ups. WOW thats just WOW.
I want FAITH like that in God not like the faith i have now (for those of you that attended the Ben Barnett teachings did you notice the big F and little f). I feel so uplifted today. the last three chapters that we have read showed me the FAITH of Paul. I am just amazed at how strong his FAITH is. That is what i want i want the Big FAITH.

Well, the Acts of the Apostles are over. It is interesting that Luke just puts forth the facts. I believe he only covers one of the apostles' deaths (James is all I remember - maybe others hadn't happened). He doesn't cover Paul's death - not sure when he wrote this - my assumption is that Paul was not dead yet? That would have been a climactic ending, yet I suppose God didn't think it was critical to hear in order to understand the basic message.
I think it is interesting that it doesn't record Paul preaching the word at Malta. One must assume that he did, but it is interesting that he only does healings.
So God was orchestrating things. One must assume that for God to orchestrate things, He needs faithful disciples - I mean, surely it wasn't His will for the church to descend into the dark ages (even wars with other religions) and then the Renaissance (materialism and worldliness). So it looks like He moved in Luther and other individuals/groups over the past 500 years - and I would include Chuck Lucas and Kip McKean. I prayed this morning that God would bless our church and the our church would please Him. I want to be used like Paul and others to have an impact on the world. Reply to this
