This chapter is all about God's forgiveness. "Like Adam, (we) have broken the covenant---(we) were unfaithfull to (Him). Yet, God has taken us with all our weaknesses, "and for (us), a harvest is appointed."
What does all that mean, that I just wrote? God is yearning to have us close to Him, to search for Him, to believe in Him. How close are you? How much seeking of Him through the Word do you do? How much do you believe in Him?
As I was reading this chapter this morning, there is SO much in there that is reflective upon Christians today---US included. Our Love is like a morning mist, as He says, "like the early dew that disappears". Our lives are full of sin, much like the City of Gilead, and the areas known as Ephraim and Israel.
But God is there for those who "return to the Lord", those who acknowledge Him, those who "press on to acknowledge Him", those who earnestly seek Him.
Yes, God is there for us. Are you there for Him? Reply to this
