    As promised....
My son is doing great at the Rehab cener. He has been there 7 months, 5 to go. He went in weighing 235 pounds...he now weighs 175. 60 pounds he lost!!!!! All by a strict diet he set for himself. Loads of muscle...NO fat, he is ready to start his new life. He is 'getting' spiritual through their program, but they don't use the Bible for their teaching...that will be MY part in his life from now on. He said he has accepted Jesus as his saviour and prays to him everyday. He SEEMS to be authentic in his words, and not untruthful. I ask, once again, for those who did not blog yesterday (Rik and Rich) to PLEASE pray for my son Daniel. He needs our prayers.
On the way home late yesterday afternoon from Memphis, where Daniel is incarcerated in this program, my wife became more and more sick from flu-like symptoms....we stopped for bathroom break, but in her haste (and her condition) she fell on the sidewalk going into a restaurant. IN doing so, she hurt her hand, slightly her leg, and fairly severely, her face which hit the concrete as well. After we spend about 2.5 hours in the emergency room in Montgomery, we finally headed out for the rest of our trip to the house, arriving around 2:30 AM.
Please pray for her recovery....she is "OKAY', but will have a nasty black and blue face...not sure yet if the cheekbone is broken...should find that out next week.

3rd John.....here John once again talks about face-to-face communications, a think he obviously does better than using 'pen and ink'. I think he does an excellent job in communication with pen and ink, but also, I understand how he feels. His written comments are one-way...that is, HE writes them to someone, but yet gets no feedback. Much like I feel quite often on this blog when I am either the only one, or one of a VERY few who comment on each others' comments. Communications is key to relationships...I pray that we can communicate using this blog more efficiently this month. What say you? You up to the challenge to try to blog a coupla times each day to respond to others' comments, so that we can have good communications as face-to-face ones are kinda impractical because of where we all live.

I am up for the challenge - I haven't blogged as much lately - feeling flat and need to repent and get my swagger back. I am sorry to hear about your wife - facial injuries are tough because they affect your eating, sleeping, etc.

I have gotten out of my habit of going to the blog regularly. I have allowed business to get in the way. I will start fresh, anew, revived, rekindled, tomarrow. I will pray for your wife and you r children
