Proverbs 22 God speaks about us the sinners, the righteous and the unrighteous. How careful the righteous chooses their battles, with whom he hangs out with, or how to face challenges. God tells us to choose wise righteous people to emulate in life. If we should continue with bad company some of it may rub off. Although we are all sinners it is the righteous that will call the unrighteous to repent or shake the dust off if they do not listen.
I also see God wants us not to be beholding to no one when it comes to our financial situation unless we absolutely have to. Rely on God his strength and have the faith that he will bring us thru all trials if we allow him to we must act on that faith by not second guessing that God will take care of us. We need to learn patience and be ready to help those in need when we can.
I also learned that we as parents have the responsibility to teach our children daily on the righteous path and teach them the danger of the consequences they will have to endure if they make the wrong decision. Allow them to fail after we teach them so that they may be prepared for future hardships.
We will reap what we sow. Let us stay on the righteous path.
