Picking Scriptures out one by one, without looking at everything available, is the reason we have such diversity in belief in "Christian" churches today. What precisely is Heaven, and when do Christians go 'there'? It just may not be what you THINK it is, as been taught to you by man. Our Bible tells a much different story about Heaven than you probably think about it right now. Find every Scripture in OUR Bible about 'Heaven' and see if you can figure out just what it means. THEN, read that article. I believe I have a copy. Why do you say that man told man that God only put what He wanted in the Bible? Doesn't the Bible say that every word of the Bible is God breathed? 2 Timothy 3:16 (Whole Chapter) All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. If we do not have all the books that we need, how can we be" thoroughly equipped for every good work." Again I say that all WE need is in the word that the Lord has provided in our area. I agree that there are many translations out there but the Lord has provided us with the insight to read and learn from what we have and the ability to seek out more knowledge if we desire it. Proverbs 1:7,"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge,". It is obvious that you fear the Lord as you are always seeking more knowledge, but does that mean those that are not as enlightened as you do not fear the Lord? I myself am not a book scholar and I don't get near as much as you do from the scriptures, maybe one day the light will come on. but fools [a] despise wisdom and discipline. Reply to this
