the two appear to be Jew and gentile the way i understand this there should no longer be Jew or gentile. emagine if we were asked in todays society if you are black or white and your responce is "I am a Christian, I am neither black nor white, I am not a Jew, I am not a gentile, I am a follower of Jesus Christ and nothing else matters." there are far to many denominations is society today. we aut to be a hole building. Mans pride and lack of communication is such a problem for men. even men who truely love God, like David, fall victem to pride. I have hopes that us going to different churches can somehow bring the churches together. Reply to this

To Rik...I believe the churches to which we are currently going, ARE together. I didn't mention this morning the great men's Bible Study group that Tony and I attended last evening. I was impressed (and you all know how hard it is to impress me). The men there seemed excited about God, yet level-headed, if you know what I mean. Tony was very vocal---in the GOOD sorta way---as we discussed evangelism. They are setting up a four week class for this group to discuss/learn more about this facet of Christian life. We start next Sunday evening...think it's going to be fun and enlightening. This is the type of stuff I miss in the 'split' churches of the ICOC in Atlanta.....I saw cliques in which people did things, but not cross-sectioned like this...although the black contingent is minimal in this church, this group of men were of all ages and abviously varied economic backgrounds. They seem to have some great goals, as does the church. I haven't seen goals like this except when the ACOC was collecting money for Hope Worldwide and Hope for Children. These folks have several programs for taking care of the poor and needy right here in Douglasville and Atlanta. Reply to this
