Prov 28. I read this chapter relatively slow this morning. The reason I did so was that I was hoping I would find something encouraging for two of my friends. One of these friends suffered something personal and terrible this last week (don't need to ask who or what, just know that this person is extremely withdrawn right now and needs our help). I could not find a Scripture in this chapter for this person, so prayer will have to do. Pray for justice, pray for love, pray for forgiveness, pray for this person (GOD knows of whom I am talking). On the subject of justice, I am positive it will be properly served in this case. Maybe not on earth, but definitely in heaven. And on THAT note, verse 5 is appropriate: Evil men do not understand justice, but those who seek the Lord understand it fully.

Zech 12. Wow, totally confused. Is Zech talking about Jesus? Another man of God? Did God come in the form of man before? First it says that God will make sure all of Jerusalem's enemies are destroyed (vs 1-9), but then at the end of the chapter, (vs 10-14) it says that all in Jerusalem will mourn. And WHY? Because they have 'pierced' someone. Is that GOD? Is this 'piercing' referring to sinning against Him? I need some help in understanding this chapter. Can anyone help?
