Prov 21:19. Another one of these many quarrelsome wife verses. We have all use these in our conversations with each other, more in a kidding manner than anything else. But when our wives do become "quarrelsome", we have to remember just one importatant thing..it takes two to tango, or, in a more approopriate comparison, it takes to to make a quarrel. So, I wonder where our wives think it is better to live than with a quarrelsome husband....things that make ya wanna go 'hmmmmmmm'.

Zech 5. Oh boy! This imagery is getting harder to figure out. The woman in the basket....what the angel called sin, or wickedness, is flown to Babulonia by two other women, both of whom appear to be like angels???? No, I take that back...that is what most people would think, and was my first thought. These women, if were angels, would be the only reference to angels in the Old Testament, which had wings...I challenge anyone to find a Scripture which describes an angel having wings. All the angels I could find in the OT, were simply appearing as men. So, anyway, back to the woman in the basket. I believe this might mean that Zechariah is to understand, and to preach, that Israel's sin was taken to Babylonia and hopefully left there....remember, this story takes place after Israel was taken captive, sent to Bablylonia, and now returned to their homeland. So, with a new start (their sin carried off symbolically to Babylonia), God has called His people back to Him (chapter 1) to start a new life without sin in Jerusalem. Jesus did that for us when we came to faith, as some might say. Let's all be extra thankful today that our sin was 'carried off in a basket' and deposited elsewhere and forgotten about. And pray for understanding of Biblical imagery!!!!!

we are no different then the horse, God has made us ready for battle(the sptiritual battle) we go into fight but the Battle is Gods to win.
    Zech 5
God detests lying and stealing. I find these two are not far from each other. in my life experience the people i have met that will steal will then lie about it. Do not lie and do not steal!

we had a conversation months ago about angels having wings. well we all know that earthly women do not have wings, but these two did. so were they earthly women or female anges? It would be reasonable to deduct that some angels have wings.

    Proverbs 21
All a man's ways seem right to him, but the LORD weighs the heart. None of my ways seem right to me anymore. Have I left the path and am now in a downward spiral, I hope not. Again about the quarrelsome wife. As Sam pointed out, it takes two to tango, and to quarrel. I believe that if we as men followed the word of God, we would not have a quarrelsome wife. How could she be quarrelsome if we were to put her above everything except God? I know that it seems no matter what we do (new kitchens or cars, (me and you)), they are still not grateful. Maybe we just need to really listen to what they are saying and not hear what we want to hear.Vs 14," A gift given in secret soothes anger, and a bribe concealed in the cloak pacifies great wrath." I thought that the Lord detest bribes? If so then why would this pacify great wrath? Are we talking wrath of God or man? I found 26 verses that contain the word bribe in them, none of them are for any good doing. So if one was to suppose that the briber in the previous verse is giving a bribe to an evil or corrupt person to pacify great wrath, do two wrongs (the bribe) make a right? I did not see any verse that said a bribe is good.Vs 23,"He who guards his mouth and his tongue keeps himself from calamity." Out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks, I think I will just keep my mouth shut for awhile.
    Zechariah 2
Vs 11 second half, "I will live among you and you will know that the LORD Almighty has sent me to you." I thought it was the Lord talking, vs 10" For I am coming, and I will live among you," declares the LORD." So who has the Lord sent to them?
    Zechariah 3
Once again Mac, you have a ton of insight. My only thought originally was why is the Lord speaking in the third party to satan,"The LORD said to Satan, "The LORD rebuke you, Satan! The LORD, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebuke you!" This would make since to me if it was the angel of the Lord speaking, but as we can see it is not. After reading your thoughts mac I think that the second half of verse 8,"I am going to bring my servant, the Branch.", is refereeing to Jesus as Branch is capitalized. Also it is the Lord speaking, and in the latter half of verse 9 ," 'and I will remove the sin of this land in a single day." So in this chapter I think God is restoring Jerusalem in the present day and telling of his plans for the future
    Zechariah 4
Verse 11,"Then I asked the angel, "What are these two olive trees on the right and the left of the lamp stand?" Vs 12," Again I asked him, "What are these two olive branches beside the two gold pipes that pour out golden oil?" He says again I asked him, yet it is two totally different questions. One is a tree and the other is branches beside pipes flowing with oil. Very confusing chapter.
    Zechariah 5
That curse does not seem so bad to me, we could use one of them today. Vs 9 does not say anything about the women being angels. If anything I would that they are creature
