p19-8 interesting. We are told many times and many places to deny ourselves and i totally agree with that, but I think this applies to those who genuinely love themselves to begin with. there are people out there that do not like themselves very much. this is why they do not try to better themselves. it says in this vs that if you get wisdom you love your soul. if you do not love yourself you will not try to gain wisdom. I am talking about self asteem. there is a place for it we need to believe in ourselves through the blood of Christ. we should feel like kings yet act like servents. Reply to this

Prov 19:20. My favorite of all here in proverbs 19. I hope to be wise someday. Listening to advice is difficult for most....some already have their minds made up before asking for 'advice', and they only do that for show. I, on the other hand, don't ask for advice hardly at all...so, I guess I am worse off than one who pretends.
Zech 3. OH-KAAAY. Now THIS is one confusing chapter. The characters are, in order of appearance, An Angel of the Lord, Zechariah, Joshua, another angel of the Lord, Satan, The Lord (God??),some of Joshua's associates, a Branch the Lord calls 'my servant' and finally, a mention of neghbors being invited to sit under his vine and fig tree. It appears to me that Joshua in this case, being the High Priest, is repesentative of all Israel and that God has cleansed them of their sins (removal of his filthy clothes). I also suppose that by clothing Joshua in a turban and fine rich garments, that this is representative of God clothing Israel once again in His love and showering them with His forgiveness. God has done this for us, using Jesus and our road to salvation through Him (belief, repentence and baptism). We, like Joshua (Israel) are blessed beyond our desires. Then comes the stone. With seven eyes. (My footnote refers to 'eyes' as possibly being 'facets' (sides). I would assume, with the number of sides being seven, that this stone is perfect, and is representative of Jesus when he comes to earth many years hence. (Sorry about that word 'hence', but I started and finished "Great Expectations" by Charles Dickens in the last 3 days, and I caught myself using old-english type of phrases, don't ya know?) More about that some time soon. Verse 10 seems to support by opinion that the stone represents Jesus, as Jesus brought the message to Israel that they must start loving their neighbors (from the 'greatest commandment') and offering them the chance to sit with Jesus for all of eternity. That's it for now.....I will just finish with a prayer I just prayed: "Dear Lord, thank you for Rick Well's heart and boldness to invite Bass and Mitchell to church. I pray, dear God, that Bass will indeed visit our, if not at least another church and elect to call on Jesus. I also pray, oh heavenly Father, that Mitchell's endeavors for you by starting a churchin Acworth are met with your blessings, and that he does so with full heart and intent on pleasing you. I pray these things in your Holy Son's precious name, Jesus Christ. Amen. Reply to this
